Dr. Robert A. Young
Dr. Young is a native of Iowa City, Iowa. He received his undergraduate and medical degree from the University of Iowa. He completed an internship and residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Michigan Medical Center. He became certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in 1987, and was re-certified in 1998. Dr. Young is a Clinical Instructor in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Michigan. He is a member of the Washtenaw County Medical Society, the Michigan State Medical Society, the Michigan Orthopaedic Society, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Young's special interests are arthritis, joint replacement of the hip and knee, trauma surgery, and sports medicine.
