|Dr. Brian A. Borden
Dr. Brian Borden is a native of Fremont, Ohio. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Miami University in 1987 and with honors from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 1991. He completed his internship and Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. He has also completed a Fellowship in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy at the Institute for Bone & Joint Disorders in Phoenix, Arizona. He is Board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery since 1999, and has Subspecialty Certification in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine since 2007. Dr. Borden is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, and a Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners.
Dr. Borden has served as assistant team physician at Eastern Michigan University from 1997-2001, and has been team physician for the Plymouth Canton Salem schools since 2001 and currently remains in that position.
His special interests are sports medicine, knee ligament reconstruction, arthroscopy, and treatment of shoulder instability and rotator cuff tears.
